Draft — last updated October 2026
§ 1Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how JurisAgent (“JurisAgent,” “we,” “us”) collects and uses personal information through the website at jurisagent.si (the “Site”), including the early-access and demo request form.
It does not cover the JurisAgent product itself. Information your firm processes in the product — including client and matter data — will be governed by your customer agreement and a data processing addendum. Section 9 summarizes the commitments we design the product around.
§ 2What we collect
Information you give us
When you request early access or book a demo, we collect what you enter in the form:
- your name and work email address;
- your firm’s name, its size and your role;
- the practice areas and states you work in;
- anything you write in the optional “What would you hand to an agent first?” field; and
- your consent to be contacted.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
Information collected automatically
When you submit the form, we record a small set of technical details alongside your request: the date and time, the country and approximate region your connection appears to come from (as provided by our hosting provider), your browser’s user-agent string and the page that referred you. We do not store your IP address with your request. Our hosting provider processes IP addresses to deliver and protect the Site.
§ 3How we use it
- To respond to you — to reply, schedule an intro call or demo, and plan a walkthrough relevant to your practice.
- To run early access — to decide which firms to onboard first and to send you updates about early access, if you’ve agreed to be contacted.
- To protect the Site — to detect spam and abuse.
- To improve what we build — to understand, in aggregate, which practice areas and workflows firms care about.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
§ 4Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the Site and respond to you, under obligations to protect it and use it only on our instructions:
| Provider | What they do | What they receive |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosts the Site and stores form submissions | Form contents, technical details, IP address in transit |
| Google Fonts | Serves the Site’s typefaces | IP address and browser details when fonts load |
| Our email provider | Sends and receives our email | Your email address and messages |
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger or acquisition — in which case this policy would continue to apply to information collected under it.
§ 5Cookies & tracking
The Site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we’ll choose a privacy-respecting tool and update this policy first.
§ 6Retention
We keep early-access requests for as long as early access is running and for up to 24 months afterward, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or you become a customer, in which case a separate agreement governs.
§ 7Security
Form submissions travel over an encrypted connection and are stored with our hosting provider with access limited to the JurisAgent team. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security. To report a security concern, write to [email protected].
§ 8Your choices & rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- correct or update it;
- delete it; or
- stop sending you early-access updates.
Depending on where you live — for example, California — you may have additional rights under state privacy law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them. To make a request, email [email protected]; we may need to verify your identity before acting on it.
§ 9Product data
The JurisAgent product is designed for privileged and confidential information. The binding terms will be in your customer agreement; the commitments we are designing the product around are:
- client and matter data is encrypted in transit and at rest;
- client data is used only to do work on your firm’s matters and is never used to train AI models;
- access follows your firm’s roles, matter-level permissions and ethical walls;
- every agent action and attorney approval is recorded in an audit trail; and
- your firm can export its data and set retention and deletion rules.
We are building toward SOC 2 and designing our controls to that standard. We have not completed a SOC 2 audit. Read more on our security page.
§ 10Children
The Site is meant for legal professionals. It is not directed to children, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
§ 11Changes
We’ll update this policy as JurisAgent moves from early access to launch. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top, and for material changes we’ll tell people who’ve submitted the form.
§ 12Contact
Questions about this policy or your information: [email protected]. Security matters: [email protected].
This draft is provided for transparency during early access and must be reviewed by counsel before launch. It is not legal advice.
